2014-15 record: 29-3

Final Super 25: Not ranked

The Holy Rams added high-profile Christ the King (Middle Village, N.Y.) transfer Rawle Alkins (20 ppg), a 6-5 senior guard. Alkins is ranked as the No. 3 guard in the nation and the No. 15 player overall by the 247Sports Composite rankings. Kansas, Kentucky, Louisville, Indiana, St. John’s, UNLV, UNC and N.C. State all in hot pursuit.

“I made the jump from New York to North Carolina and it’s a whole lot different, but I love it here,” Alkins wrote in his blog for USA TODAY High School Sports. “North Carolina’s treating me great, it’s like a second home.”

Two other seniors, Jaylen Fornes, a North Carolina-Wilmington commit and Buffalo commit Jalen Harris, give the team plenty of backcourt depth. Brandon Huffman, a 6-9 senior center and transfer from West Anchorage (Anchorage, Alaska), is drawing major offers. Four-star 6-3 junior guard Blake Harris (no relation to Jalen) recently transferred from Carlisle School (Martinsville, Va.).

Scheduled season opener: Nov. 10, Positive Day (Burlington)
