Welcome to Super 6 Plays, where we’ll be digging up and dissecting six of the best plays from across the nation with the help of our partners over at High School Cube. Gear up for the week ahead with a heavy dose of monster dunks and clutch threes early each week.

1) Michael Jacobson’s massive alley-oop slam for Waukee (Ia.) — The Warriors topped Valley by 10 in a heated Des Moines area hoops contest, but the real show stopper was Michael Jacobson’s massive slam on this alley-oop. Yowza.

2) Chas Dudley’s game-winning shot for Maclay School (Fla.) — Who doesn’t love a game-winner in the final throes of a tight game? The Maclay School in Tallahassee and Aucilla Christian Academy might not be the most high-powered of hoops squads, but they were locked in a tight battle that was only resolved when Dudley drilled this game-winner off a bit of a fortuitous bounce.

3) Jaivairius Amos-Mays’ thunder dunk to wrap up big North Chicago (Ill.) win — There are wins that conclude in a whimper and those that finish with a bang. Suffice to say that Jaivairius Amos-Mays was dedicated to ensuring North Chicago’s matchup with Glenwood finished like the latter.

4) Owens’ game-winning jumper for Illinois Valley Central (Ill.) — Another fun buzzer beater, this time to take third place in a holiday tournament in Illinois.

5) Littleton Davidson’s acrobatic tip-in game-winner for Hockinson (Wa.) — This game-winning tip just before the buzzer of a game between Washington foes Hockinson and Washougal is about as impressive as you’ll ever see outside the NBA.

6) Erika Schlosser’s half court buzzer beater for Eastview (Minn.) — In terms of sheer execution on a buzzer beater, it’s pretty hard to beat Erika Schlosser’s miracle heave for Eastview in its crosstown rivalry face off against Apple Valley.
