The Cavaliers continued strong play inside the South Central Ohio League with a dominant 4-1 win over Miami Trace, Thursday night.

In singles action, Chillicothe’s Bekah Ray defeated Bethany Reiterman, 6-2 and 6-0, before Miami Trace’s Haylee Higgens defeated Carly McCoy, 6-4, 4-6 and (10,5).

The Cavaliers’ Madeline Digges then defeated Cassie VanDyke, 6-2 and 6-0.

In doubles play, Chillicothe’s Jera Copley and Brittany Harper defeated Whitney Cockerill and Maddi Wallace, 6-0 and 6-0, to give Chillicothe the win. Hannah Kessler and Xena Stearos then defeated Miami Trace’s Macy Detty and Maddie Porter, 6-3, 4-6 and (10,5).

Chillicothe improves to 9-3 overall and 7-0 inside the SCOL.
