The American Family Insurance ALL-USA Twin Cities Top 5 Plays

By

GOLDEN VALLEY, Minn. – American Family Insurance is proud to announce this week’s ALL-USA Twin Cities Top 5 Performances of the Week.

Each week, five of the best plays or performances will be on display and showcase online.

The top plays this week come from across the metro. Play number five is from the Park Center and Hopkins girls basketball game. Pirates guard Ann Simonet gets the block on one end but Royals forward Nia Hollie responded with a denial of her own. Play number four is from the Lakeville North boys hockey team. With the puck loose in front of the net, Henry Enebak made a nice move to avoid the goalie and slipped the puck in for the goal to help keep the Panthers undefeated on the season.

Play number three is from the Edina boys hockey team. It looked like Minnetonka was going to clear the puck but Dylan Malmquist kept the puck in the zone and flipped it over the sprawled out goalie to extend the Hornets lead over the Skippers. Play number two is from the Apple Valley boys basketball team. Austin Korba drove into the lane, drawing contact from the defender, but got the shots off for a chance at the three-point play to help clinch the South Suburban title for the Eagles. Play number one is from the Burnsville boys basketball team. Joe Morris faked out his man with the crossover and beat two defenders with the reverse layup for the Blaze.
