We recently showcased a video of USC WR commit Josh Imatorbhebhe going from a standstill into a full-on backflip. It was pretty jaw dropping, and it underscored his sheer athleticism.
On Wednesday, we got more definitive proof that Imatorbhebhe is one of the best high school pure athletes to come along in years.
Competing at Nike’s The Opening in Oregon,Imatorbhebhe had a 47.1 inch vertical leap. That’s accurate. Forty-seven inches! You can see his jump directly below.
Of course, the vertical leap is just one facet of the physical testing component at The Opening, but Imatorbhebhe excelled at all four of his different measurables. A 4.49 second 40? That’s ridiculous. A peak power reading of 9210 watts? Ridiculous. A 41-foot power ball throw? For a wideout, that’s ridiculous.
You get the idea: Imatorbhebhe is ridiculous, and USC will have to find a way to get him on the field fast. He’s too athletic not to use one way or another.
