Here’s a look at the top 10 high school football performances from Week 3 or the regular season:

QB Kyle Gilbert, Davidson Academy

Gilbert threw for 283 yards on 13-of-18 passing in the Bears’ 49-14 win over Whitwell, including touchdown strikes of 65, 43, 40, and 17 yards. The 5-foot-10, 170-pound senior also ran three times for 23 yards and a touchdown.

WR-FS JaCoby Stevens, Oakland 

Stevens made five catches for 205 yards in the Patriots’ 49-30 win over rival Siegel, including touchdown receptions of 51 and 25 yards. The 6-foot-2, 193-pound junior also returned a fumble 91 yards for a third-quarter score.

RB Kimlee North, Overton

North ran for 138 yards on 14 carries in the Bobcats’ 41-20 win over Franklin, including rushing scores of 10, 25 and 16 yards. The 5-foot-8, 175-pound senior also hauled in a 51-yard, fourth-quarter touchdown reception.

RB Hunter Caldwell, Fairview

Caldwell carried 12 times for 101 yards in the Yellow Jackets’ 56-33 win over Stewart County, and the 5-foot-10, 195-pound junior also hauled in five receptions for 141 yards, including a pair of 41-yard touchdown catches.

RB Ty Chandler, MBA 

Chandler churned out 173 yards with touchdown runs of 75 and 12 yards in the Big Red’s 62-21 triumph over Melrose, and the 5-foot-11, 170-pound junior also hauled in a 75-yard, third-quarter touchdown reception.

WR Jamal Kirklen, Hillwood

Kirklen made five catches for 175 yards in the Hilltoppers’ 35-28 win over Kenwood, including touchdown receptions of 92 and 31 yards.

RB Terrell Carter, Hendersonville

Carter ripped off touchdown runs of 43, 64 and 31 yards in the Commandos’ 42-25 win over previously unbeaten Cane Ridge. The 5-foot-10, 175-pound junior finished with 185 yards rushing on 21 carries.

QB Clayton Beathard, BGA

Beathard completed 19-of-36 pass attempts for 300 yards in the Wildcats’ 38-31 win over St. Benedict, including touchdown passes of 68, 36 and 38 yards. The reigning Division II-A Mr. Football Back of the Year also ran 12 times for 34 yards and a score.

RB Jordan Mason, Gallatin

Mason managed 126 yards on just 11 first-half carries in the Green Wave’s 54-6 win over Hunters Lane, tallying rushing scores of 6, 22, 1 and 35 yards in the lopsided win. Through three weeks, the 5-foot-11, 205-pound junior has racked up 12 total touchdowns.

RB Tyler Bowes, Wilson Central

Bowes carried 13 times for 152 yards in the Wildcats’ 41-13 win over Antioch, including touchdown runs of 50, 4, 26 and 30 yards.
