As the playoffs continue in some places and state champions are crowned elsewhere, the tally of undefeated 11-man football teams continued to dwindle. From 618 team last week, the number is now 498.

Texas still leads with 51, followed by California with 47. Pennsylvania has 30 and New York has 26.

Alaska has finished its season with only one team left unbeaten, multiple-time medium school champion Soldotna, which already has the state record for consecutive wins.

North Dakota played its state championships last weekend and finished with one unbeaten team, Park River/Fordville-Lankin in Fordville, the Division A state champion that finished 11-0.  Wyoming finished its state championship weekend with the final two perfect teams falling. The District of Columbia and Delaware also have no teams.
