It will be very difficult to find a more iconic baseball image during the 2015 season than the one captured by Morning News photojournalist Veasey Conway.

If you couldn’t guess, the play above features a baserunner trying to hurdle a catcher. In this case, Lake City baserunner Keenan Graham was attempting to vault Wilson backstop Mason Park, with Park getting the last laugh … and the out in a South Carolina face off.

Out or not, Lake City still pulled out a 5-2 victory, but that’s not why you’re still fascinated with the image at the top of this page. Perhaps even more impressive than that photo is the fact that Conway somehow managed to capture the entire sequence leading up to and following the play at the plate, leading to some absolutely priceless umpire and baserunner reactions, as noted by our USA TODAY Sports Media Group brethren at The Big Lead.
