Patrick O’Loughlin won the shot put (38 feet, 4 inches) and discus (110-2) as Dover High School’s boys track and field team topped host Red Hook 77-55.
Jeff Kiluba and Tim Kiluba were each double winners for Red Hook. Jeff placed first in the 400 intermediate hurdles (1:04.1) and 200 dash (25.2), while Tim won the 100 dash (11.3) and long jump (19-2 ¾).
Poughkeepsie 52, Webutuck 42 — Jordan Finch and Isaiah Bevans were double winners as the visiting Pioneers beat the Warriors.
Finch won the 100-meter dash (11.4) and 200 dash (24.0). Bevans placed first in the 1,600 run (5:15.0) and 800 run (2:25.0).
New Paltz 113, Ellenville 28 — Double winners for the Huguenots were Grant Harlow, Lorenzo Mazzuca, Mike Krebs, Josh Joseph and Franco Julia-Wise in a home dual meet.
Harlow won the 400 hurdles (1:00.5) and 110 hurdles (17.3). Mazzuca placed first in the 800 run (2:17.1) and 3,200 run (10:57.7). Mike Krebs won the 400 dash (53.4) and 200 dash (24.6). Joseph captured the 100 dash (12.1) and long jump (18-8). Julia-Wise won the shot put (42-6 ¾) and discus (153-0).
Roosevelt wins two — Late Wednesday, the Franklin D. Roosevelt and Marlboro High School boys and girls track teams competed in a tri-meet with John A. Coleman in Hyde Park.
The Roosevelt boys beat Marlboro 93-47 behind Joe McKeon’s wins in the 400-meter dash (55.7), the 110-meter high hurdles (17.80), the long jump (19-7) and the high jump (38-5).
The Presidents beat Coleman, 132-8, while the Iron Dukes took a 110-27 win from Coleman. Tyler Banks was a winner in the 200-meter dash (24.4), the triple jump (18-13) and the long jump (38-1).
Girls track and field
Cat Simmons and Sarah Wohlfarht each won two events as host Red Hook topped Dover 68-59.
Simmons won the discus (62-7) and shot put (24-5). Wohlfarht placed first in the 100 high hurdles (18.3) and triple jump (29-11 ¾).
Kristin Butts was a double winner for Dover, placing first in the 100 dash (13.2) and 200 dash (28.5).
Webutuck 32, Poughkeepsie 23 — Poughkeepsie’s Akeva Morrison won the 200 dash (30.6) and 400 dash (1:09.5), but the Pioneers lost in Amenia.
New Paltz 96, Ellenville 44 — Hannah Takacs, Willa Butler, Morgane Kuyl and Lauren Mullady each won two events in the Huguenots’ home win.
Takacs won the 400 hurdles (1:15.6) and 400 dash (1:07.9). Butler placed first in the 1,500 run (5:56.1) and 800 run (2:53.4). Kuyl won the 100 hurdles (17.9) and 200 dash (28.6). Mullady placed first in the long jump (14-4 ¼) and triple jump (31-8 ¼).
Marlboro takes pair —Late Wednesday, Marlboro beat 74-65 over Roosevelt and 108-13 over Coleman in Hyde Park.
Jessica Gallo won both the high jump and the long jump. She marked at 4-4 in the high jump and 18-3.5 in the long jump against both opponents.
Teammate Laynie Callo finished first in the 400-meter intermediate hurdles (75.6).
Despite the loss to Marlboro, Roosevelt beat Coleman, 103-29. Morgan Beers won the 400-meter intermediate hurdles (79.1) and the pole vault (7-6).
