For the eighth consecutive week Haverford Prep holds down the top spot in the Super 25 Boys Lacrosse rankings provided by 3d Rising. The Fords’ record swelled to an intimidating and unblemished 23-0 this past week, winning 16-10 against rival Malvern Prep (Pa.) and 10-3 over Penn Charter (Pa.) in the Inter-Ac postseason tournament quaterfinals. The Fords are a favorite to win the Inter-Ac, with a rematch against Malvern Prep in the semifinals on Friday.
The biggest jump of the week comes from No. 8 The Hun School of Princeton (N.J.), who previously sat at No. 20. This week’s biggest fall is claimed by then No. 6 and now No. 22 Darien (Conn.).
Joining the Super 25 from the land of the unranked are No. 17 St. Mary’s (Annapolis, Md.), No. 21 New Canaan (Conn.) and and No. 25 Victor (N.Y.). Dropping out of the top 25 was: St. Stephen’s & St. Agnes, Va., St. Paul’s School, Brooklandville, Md. and Corona del Mar High School, Newport Beach, Calif.
