Oswalt has worked in many areas of football from high school sports writer to serving as general manager for a professional indoor football team in Austin, Texas. He and partner David Phillips, the president of Sports Marketing Experts (SME), bought in the summer of 2014 with the desire to be a fan-friendly site for those who love high school football in the state. Phillips serves as publisher.

With the tagline, “We LIVE for TEXASHSFOOTBALL,” the new owners have led an expansion of the site’s content and reach and developed a devoted following on social media.
