Meet Brayden Taylor. He’s a 10-year-old Alaskan, which means he should barely be able to throw a ball three-quarters of a basketball court, let alone make the shot look like it’s a walk in the park.
Yet, Taylor’s baseball-style heave swished through the net, with one minor issue.
“The official said it touched the ceiling and they didn’t count it, but it counts in our eyes,” Brayden’s mother Autumn Taylor told Anchorage’s KTUU-TV. “We went to Dairy Queen to celebrate!”
She’s right. It counts in the eyes of people who love watching miraculous basketball plays. If ever a shot was worth Dairy Queen, this is it. Enjoy Brayden, because this one might be tough to top.
