McEachern running back Sam Jackson is one of the top backs in Georgia, or perhaps even the nation. He showed precisely why on a remarkable touchdown run against Hillgrove on Friday night.

That’s Jackson absolutely tearing through the Hillgrove defense. He toasted literally all 11 players on the Hillgrove defense. He got the ball and cut through the center, then found a seam along the far sideline. He sped down the field before juking back inside and slipping back to the left en route to pay dirt.

The touchdown helped pace McEachern to a 37-17 rout in a playoff tune up. It also helped ensure that Jackson, a Georgia Southern commit who finished the victory against Hillgrove with 171 yards and two touchdowns on the ground, is firing on all cylinders at precisely the right time of the year.

That’s a scary thought for anyone who might find themselves matched up against McEachern in the forthcoming playoffs.
