Well, here’s your trick kick of the year. There is absolutely no way anyone will top this.

The player you see in the Instagram highlight above is Gunar Robinson, the placekicker for Central Hinds Academy in Mississippi. Competing in a trick shot competition at the Team Jackson Kicking Camp’s summer edition, Robinson flicked a ball up to himself via a soccer-style back heel, the smoothly pivoted and launched a successful field goal, from about 25 yards.

Needless to say, Robinson won the trick shot competition.

It would be nigh on impossible to top this effort, though Robinson could always try to move back a few yard lines and kick again. If nothing else, the wildly creative make may help the 5-foot-9, 175-pounder earn a few more looks from collegiate programs outside of his own backyard. It certainly seems like he deserves it.
