Forget run-through banners. Forget giant inflatables. No field entrance can come close to the one being choreographed by Oscar Smith.
The Chesapeake, Va. power has taken to entering the field through a designated “Tiger Cage”, with the team crowding in behind a three-sided “cage” which is eventually opened by the coaching staff after the players have strutted and stunted with an appropriate amount of swag.
They don’t just run out of the cage, either. Oscar Smith sticks with the Tiger theme, crawling out on the haunches before popping up into a sprint. It’s pret-tay, pret-tay impressive.
That kind of an intricate routine is sure to intimate just about everyone, save possibly the stars at Clayton Valley, who have a pretty unique field entrance of their own.
