Whoa. Bet he can’t do this again in one take.
This, apparently, is Joe DiMaio. Well, one of the two protagonists, either the shot maker or the man who gave him the ball, is Joe DiMaio, the Twitter user who initially posted the video. Everything else we are unsure of, but we do feel confident saying that whichever teen hit this shot is one magic man.
As you can see, the shot maker — because let’s face it, after this shot he’ll be the shot maker for the rest of his life — started a complete circular roll around on his longboard when he was handed the ball near one baseline and, without missing a beat, launched the ball at the other hoop from three-quarters court.
Sure, the made bucket bounced in off the backboard. Who cares. It was good from three-quarters court. On a skateboard. That is remarkable.
Less anyone think that the three-quarters court shot was a complete fluke (let’s face it, there’s ample reason to believe that) Joe DiMaio or his associate hit another shot off the longboard from half-court. Apparently just because they could.
Oh, to be young, talented, creative and carefree, right?
