Miles Bridges is one of the nation’s most talented senior basketball players. The Flint, Mich. native has followed the legion of famous Flint stalwarts before him by pledging his future to Michigan State, despite his high school spent at Huntington Prep in West Virginia. And while Bridges may fly slightly below the national radar because of the three-pronged prominence of Harry Giles III, Jayson Tatum and Josh Jackson. That doesn’t mean he isn’t a physical freak, as he proved during Huntington Prep’s annual blue vs. blue scrimmage.
That’s Bridges elevating over both his mother and sister to throw down an absolutely epic dunk during the Fighting Irish’s festivities in Huntington. Not only did Bridges easily clear both of his relatives, he got his head level with the rim as he soared in for the slam.
If Huntington Prep is to make another run at the DICK’S Nationals in 2015-16, it’ll need plenty of explosive play from Bridges. So far, so good.
