Paramus advanced to the state Group III final against Delsea Sunday morning with a 40-25 semifinal triumph over the Vikings, who finished the season 14-7.

“Paramus is a tough, physical team — very solid, well-balanced, well-coached,” said Voorhees coach Eric Hall. “Our kids wrestled their best and we got beat.”

The Vikings whittled an 18-point deficit down to 30-25 courtesy of a 1-0 decision from 113-pounder Liam Cutri-Frenchl, a fall from 120-pounder Harley Sacks and 126-pounder Kyle DiNapoli’s 12-2 major.
