Round 1 is complete in the USA TODAY High School Sports contest to find that answer. It’s up to you to decide. Your voice was heard in Round 1 and Round 2 begins Friday at noon ET.

The top five vote-getters in the first round were:
- Appleton United (Wis.)- 47,364 (21,225)
- Palo Verde Panthers (Nev.) – 38,581 (2,743)
- Sunset Apollos (Ore.) – 38,378 (1,214)
- St. Margaret’s Episcopal Tartans (Southern California) – 23,950 (52)
- Glenbrook North Spartans (Illinois) – 11,690 (3,644)
The criteria for selection includes:
- On-field success
- Coaching and player development
- Community and fan support
- Athletic and training facilities, uniforms and equipment.
