Among the highlights of Nike’s The Opening this week in Beaverton, Ore., is the physical testing.
The 10 athletes with the top composite score based on how they fare in several areas, such as the 40-yard dash and vertical jump, advance to the finals.
Tyrie Cleveland from Westfield (Texas) qualified in the No. 1 spot followed by Florida State commit Levonta Taylor from Ocean Lakes in Virginia and Nigel Knott from Germantown (Madison, Miss.)
Knott was the head turner of the prelims with an amazing 4.30 in the 40-yard dash and a 44-inch vertical leap. Check out the video above to see how fast Knott looks even in slow motion.
He is expected to announce his college decision this week at The Opening.
