Watkins Memorial split a pair of games at Big Walnut on Saturday, winning the first game 5-4 and falling to Westerville Central 10-2 in the second game.

In the win against Big Walnut, Carly Brandon went the distance for the win, striking out 11, walking one and yielding five hits to push her record to 6-0. Devon Atchison had three hits, a stolen base and scored twice, Lexi Denison a double, two hits and two runs scored and Jayden Johnson three hits and an RBI for the Warriors (8-5).

Brandon had two hits against the Warhawks, and Kelli Wright had a hit and scored two runs. Brooke Schindler pitched the first five innings for the Warriors and took the loss, striking out four.
