Crimsons cruised to 48-13 win over Eagles last year

* Manual will try to rebound from last week’s 43-7 loss to rival Male. The Crimsons managed just 92 total yards – including just 1 yard in the second half – and five first downs and got their only points on Bryce Cosby’s 47-yard interception return for a touchdown. Manual will play at Ballard next week in the first round of the Class 6-A playoffs.
* After going 2-9 last season, Eastern has enjoyed one of the top turnarounds in Louisville this season. The Eagles rolled past Seneca 54-0 last week as J.D. Berger passed for 176 yards and six touchdowns, including three to Sugar Ray Wyche. Berger has passed for 1,334 yards and 19 TDs with 10 interceptions this year. Eastern will play at St. Xavier next week in the first round of the Class 6-A playoffs.
