Bessemer Academy, with Friday’s win at Lee-Scott, wrapped up a playoff spot from AISA Class AAA, Region 1.

The Rebels (3-0, 2-0 region) are in a five-team region and the current fifth-place team, Kingwood, is 0-3 in region play.

At worst, BA will finish 2-2.

Bessemer didn’t go to the playoffs in 2012, while Autauga missed in 2002.
