Six weeks into the season, there have been two playoff berths clinched, 43 teams remain unbeaten and 55 are winless.

Just one has yet to give up a point.

Class 3A Pike County has recorded four shutouts, the latest 44-0 at Luverne on Friday.

In the AISA, Abbeville Christian wrapped up a playoff spot this week, joining Bessemer Academy in that category.

A vast majority of the AHSAA teams played non-region games this week and couldn’t make headway toward the postseason.
