Visiting West Muskingum followed a 6-0 loss to Steubenville Catholic Central with a 14-2 win against host Barnesville in a triangular on Saturday.

Nic Inkovich allowed only three hits in a complete game in the opener, while Kutch Clark and Chris Murphy combined for five hits and two RBIs. Catholic Central scored three times in the fifth to break it open.

Dylan Lyons struck out 10 in a losing cause for West.

In the nightcap, the Tornadoes (5-7) scored 10 times in the first inning as Shane Holbert slugged a two-run triple and Nick Hart a two-run single.

Seth Mirgon allowed two runs in a complete game for West, allowing four hits and three walks with four strikeouts.

Holbert also singled twice, while Zach Swendryck and had Hart had three RBIs apiece.

Nathan Clark was losing pitcher.

West hosts Morgan at 5 p.m. on Monday in Muskingum Valley League play.
