Milwaukee Lutheran Invitational: Grant Manke finished fourth and Noah Poss was fifth as Winnebago Lutheran finished 13th overall out of 17 teams.
Manke (195-pounds) went 2-2 on the day, winning his first two matches. Manke received a bye in the first match before pinning Mohamed Sylla of St. John’s Military Academy in 1:38.
Poss went 4-1, winning the fifth place match with a pin in just 31 seconds. He had a bye in the first round and then had another pin in the second round over Ben Halverson of Lake Country Lutheran in 4:35. He won by tech fall in the fourth round, 16-1, after being pinned in the second round.
The Vikings finished with 31.5 points while Wisconsin Lutheran won the invite with 318.5 points. Kenosha Christian Life was second with 202 and Martin Luther was third with 161 points.
