“This is always a game that’s going to get us ready for the playoffs and we just hope that we can come out of it without any injuries,” Scroggins said. “To turn the score around the way we did says a lot about our offense.”
PRP scored first on a long opening drive that culminated in a two-yard touchdown run by Kris Adams. The kick was blocked, and Central connected on a 59-yard pass on its first play. But the ball was stripped and PRP took over on its own 8-yard line.

From that point on, it was all Central. Myron Norfleet’s 1-yard run tied it at 6, and Antonio Heard hauled in a 45-yard scoring pass from Norfleet to make it 12-6 after the two-point conversion failed. Central closed the first half scoring with a 23-yard field goal to take a 15-6 lead.
Central struck first in the third quarter when Zackary White scored on a 7-yard pass from Norfleet. The extra point failed and the Yellowjackets led 21-6. PRP clawed back in the game when Donyell Bronaugh scored on a 5-yard run and Gavin Logsdon’s extra point made it 21-13. That was as close as PRP could get.
The Yellowjackets built their lead on a pair of touchdown runs by Stephen Jones to make it 35-13 early in the fourth quarter. But they weren’t finished. Francisco’s 46-yard field-goal attempt crawled over the crossbar to make it a 25-point margin, and Jaquaz Terrell’s 31-yard interception return made it 45-13 with 4:39 left in the game.
Michael Hopper scored on the game’s last play on a 19-yard pass from Bronaugh to make it 45-19.
