You won't believe how few rushing yards University Christian (Fla.) allowed

University Christian in Jacksonville is heading to the Florida 2A state final after a 31-0 victory against defending state champion Victory Christian (Lakeland).

UC will attempt to win its eighth state championship when it faces Tampa Cambridge in Orlando on Friday.

Victory Christian entered the game noted for its passing attack and QB Dalton Jenner was 10-for-28 for 148 yards, but when sack yardage is added in, the total was minus-59.

The real shocking number, though, was the rushing yards. UC allowed minus-88 yards, which is a state record for fewest rushing yards allowed in a state playoff game, according to Richard Burton, who compiles Florida high school statistics and records.

Those minus-88 offset the 88 that University Christian has allowed in the first two games for a whopping total of zero.
