COACH OF THE YEAR
Matt Smith, St. Mark’s (Wilmington)
Smith presided over the 14th state title in St. Mark’s school history. The Spartans (20-2) completed an epic, come-from-behind 5-4 win over Caravel Academy in the championship-clinching victory.

Jordan Hutchins, P, Dover, 5-10/170, Sr.
Hutchins, Delaware’s Gatorade Player of the Year, led the state in hitting with a .524 average while also posting a 7-0 record on the mound with a 0.80 ERA and 53 strikeouts in 44 innings. The University of Delaware signee helped the Senators to the state semifinals for the fourth straight season.
