USA TODAY High School Sports is proud to announce the 2015-16 American Family Insurance ALL-USA Delaware Girls Basketball Team. Players were selected based on their athletic achievements from the 2015-16 season.

John Noonan, Ursuline (Wilmington)
Noonan took a roster full of freshmen and sophomores and guided the Raiders to their second straight state title, defeating Sanford in the championship game, 39-34. Ursuline (19-5) went unbeaten against in-state competition and earned its 16th state crown overall.


Player of the Year
Altia Anderson, F, Woodbridge (Greenwood), 6-2, Sr.
The Marquette recruit was the dominant post player in the state this past season, averaging 19.3 points, 14.2 rebounds, 5.7 blocks and 3.8 assists per game. The state’s Gatorade Player of the Year, Anderson was also tabbed Player of the Year by the Delaware Sportswriters and Broadcasters Association.

Maggie Connolly, G, Ursuline (Wilmington), 5-8, So.
Connolly topped a balanced attack with 12.2 points per game, winning a state title and earning All-State honors for the second straight year.

Aahliyah Selby, G, Concord (Wilmington), 5-7, Jr.
Selby recorded 15.4 points, five rebounds and 4.5 steals per game, leading the Raiders to a 21-2 mark and the state semifinals.

Chrishyanah Alston, G, Sanford (Hockessin), 5-8, Sr.
Sanford’s  veteran leader averaged 15 points, 4.3 rebounds and three steals and reached the state championship game.

Alisha Lewis, G, Ursuline (Wilmington), 5-5, Fr.
An excellent playmaker and a pesky defender, the talented freshman was selected First Team All-State for the state champs.


Lauren Park-Lane, G, Sanford (Hockessin), 5-5, Fr.

Lynnjay Brown, G, Dickinson (Wilmington), 5-5, So.

Shirle’ Brown, G, Appoquinimink (Middletown), 5-8, Sr.

Alanna Speaks, F, St. Elizabeth (Wilmington), 5-10, Jr.

Kailyn Kampert, F, Ursuline (Wilmington), 5-10, Sr.
