USA TODAY High School Sports is proud to announce the American Family Insurance ALL-USA Hawaii Boys Basketball Team. Players were selected based on their athletic achievements from the 2015-16 season.

COACH OF THE YEAR
Walt Quitan, University Lab (Honolulu)
The state championship trophies that Quitan helped the Junior Rainbows win—as a player—in 1987 and 1988 were destroyed in a 2006 fire, but they were finally replaced in a ceremony this January. Quitan then proceeded to add another one (the first since ’88) as a coach a month later, guiding University Lab (24-6) to a 46-31 win over Seabury Hall in the Div. 2 title game.
Player of the Year
Hugh Hogland, C, ‘Iolani (Honolulu), 6-9/220, Jr.
Most Oustanding Player of the Div. 1 state tournament, Hogland averaged 15 points, 10 rebounds and five blocked shots per game. Also the state’s Gatorade Player of the Year Hogland had 16 points, 12 rebounds and six blocks in the championship game victory over rival Punahou.
Chance Kalaugher, F, Kaiser (Honolulu), 6-6/225, Sr.
A member of the Star-Advertiser’s Fab 15, Kalaugher averaged 18 points and 12 rebounds for the 28-7 Cougars.
Joseph Gouty, G, Leilehua (Wahiawa), 5-10, 160, Sr.
Player of the Year in the OIA Western Division, Gouty notched 15.2 points, 5.7 assists and 4.0 rebounds per game.
Robby Mann, G, ‘Iolani (Honolulu), 6-1/185, Sr.
Mann led the state champs with 15.6 points per game and was named MVP of the Interscholastic League of Honolulu.
Keoua Mahiko, G/F, Kaiser (Honolulu), 6-3/175, Sr.
The OIA Eastern Division Player of the Year, Mahiko contributed 18 points, six rebounds and two assists per contest.
Alex Layhi, F, Kalaheo (Kailua), 6-3/180, Sr.
Akahi Troske, C, Punahou (Honolulu), 6-6/205, Sr.
Tristan Nichols, C, St. Louis (Honolulu), 6-5/270, Sr.
Kaeler Kahana, G, Kamehameha (Honolulu), 6-0/175, Sr.
Calvin Mattos, G, Waiakea (Hilo), 5-10/160, Jr.
