COACH OF THE YEAR
Glenn Cecchini, Barbe (Lake Charles)
In his 29th season as the head coach at Barbe, Cecchini led the Bucs (35-6) to their ninth Class 5A state championship and third in a row, capping off the latest title with a 5-2 win over Byrd. He owns a remarkable 826-186 career record and also coached the U18 team to a gold medal at the World Baseball Softball Confederation (WBSC) World Cup in Japan last fall.

The Southeastern University signee posted an 8-0 record and a 0.85 ERA this season for perennial powerhouse Barbe. Booth led the Bucs (35-6) to the Class 5A state title and a No. 10 ranking in the USA TODAY Sports Super 25 Expert Rankings.
