USA TODAY High School Sports is proud to announce the 2015-16 American Family Insurance ALL-USA Maine Girls Basketball Team. Players were selected based on their athletic achievements from the 2015-16 season.

COACH OF THE YEAR

Rick Clark, York
Clark’s 34-year coaching career had a storybook ending as he steered the Wildcats to the Class A state title, the fourth championship of his long tenure. Clark retired after racking up 508 victories as York’s longtime head coach.

FIRST TEAM

Player of the Year
Nia Irving, C, Lawrence (Fairfield), 6-1, Sr.
A two-time Gatorade Maine Girls Basketball Player of the Year and the state’s Miss Basketball selection in 2016, Irving averaged 25.6 points and 21.1 rebounds per game this past season, leading the Bulldogs to a 21-1 record and the Class A state final. For her career, she scored a total of 1,761 points and grabbed 1,206 rebounds. She will play collegiately at Boston University this fall.

Shannon Todd, G, York, 5-10, Sr.
The Northeastern signee averaged 15.3 points and 7.6 rebounds per game for the Class A state champion Wildcats.

Maddie Hasson, G/F, South Portland, 5-9, Sr.
A Maine Miss Basketball finalist, Hasson averaged 21.7 points and 13.1 rebounds per game, leading South Portland to the Class AA regional final.

Dominique Lewis, G, Lawrence (Fairfield), 5-5, Sr.
The four-year varsity standout finished her prep career with 1,054 points scored, including an average of 15 points and six assists per game this past season for Class A runner-up Lawrence.

Emily Esposito, G, Gorham, 5-10, Jr.
One of the state’s top recruits heading into her senior year of high school, Esposito compiled averages of 18.1 points, 4.9 rebounds and 3.1 steals per game this past season, leading Gorham to the Class AA state title.
