USA TODAY High School Sports is proud to announce the 2015-16 American Family Insurance ALL-USA North Carolina Girls Basketball Team. Players were selected based on their athletic achievements from the 2015-16 season.

Amber Reddick, Freedom (Morganton)
In her 12th season at the helm at Freedom, Reddick guided the undefeated Lady Patriots (32-0) to the Class 3A state title, the fifth girls’ basketball championship crown in school history.


Player of the Year
Erin Whalen, G/F, Providence Day (Charlotte), 6-1, Sr.
The state’s Gatorade Girls Basketball Player of the Year, Whalen led Providence Day (No. 15 in the USA TODAY Super 25) to the Class 3A state championship this past season. A Vanderbilt signee, she averaged 18.2 points and 5.7 rebounds per game and is the No. 45 ranked recruit in the Class of 2016 by ESPN.

Maya Caldwell, G, Davidson Day (Davidson), 6-0, Jr.
Sporting averages of 15.5 points, 5.7 rebounds and 5.3 assists per game, the standout junior guard helped Davidson Day to the Class 2A state final.

Kiana “Lucky” Rudd, G, Forest Trail Academy (Kernersville), 5-9, Sr.
A North Carolina signee, Rudd averaged 11.5 points, 4.2 rebounds and 3.1 assists per game to help lead Forest Trail Academy to the NISAA championship game.

Olivia Smith, SG, Cardinal Gibbons (Raleigh), 6-0, Sr.
Smith was the catalyst for a Cardinal Gibbons team that reached the PAC-6 4A state tournament, averaging 21.4 points, 10.8 rebounds and 2.5 steals per game.

Eleah Parker, C, Northside Christian Academy (Charlotte), 6-3, Jr.
The author of 17 double-doubles this season, Parker produced 17 points, 13 rebounds and three blocks per game for a Northside Christian team that earned a berth in the Class 2A state final.


Lexi Mercer, G, Rosewood (Goldsboro), 5-9, Sr.

Kai Crutchfield, G, Millbrook (Raleigh), 5-8, Jr.

Chanin Scott, F, Myers Park (Charlotte), 5-11, Sr.

Maria Paula Lopes Albiero, PG, Neuse Baptist Christian School (Raleigh), 5-7, Jr.

Janelle Bailey, C, Providence Day (Charlotte), 6-3, Jr.
