USA TODAY High School Sports is proud to announce the American Family Insurance ALL-USA Tennessee Boys Basketball Team. Players were selected based on their athletic achievements from the 2015-16 season.

Penny Hardaway, Memphis East
The former NBA star, and first-year high school coach, helped guide the Mustangs to the Class AAA state championship. Memphis East finished 32-2—with the losses by a combined three points—and earned the No. 21 spot in the USA TODAY Super 25.


Player of the Year
Darius Garland, G, Brentwood Academy, 6-0, 145, So.
The dazzling sophomore led the Eagles (29-3) to their second straight state title, avenging an earlier defeat by trouncing rival Ensworth in the final, 82-49. Ranked as the No. 16 recruit in the Class of 2018 by ESPN, Garland averaged 18 points, 4.5 assists and 2.7 steals per game and was named Division II-AA Mr. Basketball.

Nathan Hoover, G/F, Arlington, 6-4/175, Sr.
The Wofford signee averaged 24.3 points and 6.1 rebounds per contest.

Alex Lomax, G, Memphis East, 5-11/170, So.
MVP of the Class AAA state tournament, Lomax averaged 13.2 points, six assists and five rebounds to earn the state’s Gatorade Player of the Year Award.

Abdul Ado, C, Hamilton Heights Christian (Chattanooga), 6-10/240, Sr.
The Mississippi State recruit was the top rebounder (8.2) and shot blocker (2.7) for the nationally-ranked Hawks.

Nick Hopkins, G, Fayetteville, 6-0/160, Sr.
The Class A Mr. Basketball winner, Hopkins poured in 33.3 points per game and signed with Belmont.


Tyler Harris, G, Cordova, 5-9, 150, So.

Jordan Bone, G, Ensworth (Nashville), 6-2/165, Sr.

Jaylen Fisher, G, Bolton (Arlington), 6-2/170, Sr.

Bo Hodges, G/F, Maplewood (Nashville), 6-5/195, Jr.

Tee Higgins, F, Oak Ridge, 6-4/185, Jr.
