USA TODAY High School Sports is proud to announce the 2015-16 American Family Insurance ALL-USA Vermont Girls Basketball Team. Players were selected based on their athletic achievements from the 2015-16 season.

COACH OF THE YEAR

Ute Otley, Champlain Valley Union (Hinesburg)
Otley has guided the Redhawks on an historical run, including a modern state record of 95 consecutive victories and four straight Division 1 state championships.  CVU throttled BFA-St. Albans in this year’s title game, 40-28.

FIRST TEAM

Player of the Year
Laurel Jaunich, F, Champlain Valley Union (Hinesburg), 6-1, Sr.
The Navy commit never tasted defeat in her four-year varsity career. She led the state champs in scoring (13.3) and rebounding (6.0) and was named both the Metro Division Player of the Year and the Vermont Basketball Coaches Association Player of the Year.

Lisa Sulejmani, G, Rice (South Burlington), 5-6, So.
Sulejmani blossomed as a sophomore, leading the 14-6 Green Knights with 17 points, four assists and three rebounds per contest.

Emilee Bose, F, Enosburg Falls, 5-10, Sr.
Bose carried the Hornets to their first Div. 3 championship since 2008, averaging 16.5 points, 10.4 rebounds and 2.5 blocks.

Alexis Quenneville, G/F, Fair Haven, 5-7, Sr.
Quenneville sparked the underdog Slaters to their first Div. 2 state championship, posting 15.8 points, 5.4 rebounds and 2.5 steals nightly.

Sadie Otley, G, Champlain Valley Union (Hinesburg), 5-8, Sr.
The state’s Gatorade Player of the Year was a defensive menace for the state champs while contributing 11.8 points, 4.5 assists and 3.1 steals per game.

Taylor Truax, F, Essex (Essex Junction), 6-0, Sr.
