North Henderson held a signing ceremony Friday afternoon for five seniors who are going on to play college football.
Linebacker/wide receiver Ashton Woodring, lineman Brandon Johnson, linebacker/running back Drew Mitchell and quarterback/safety Trevor Craft are all bound for Brevard College. Linebacker Cole McCarson will play at the next level for Centre (Ky.).
The Knights (7-5, 4-3) enjoyed their first winning season since 2000 last fall under former coach J.D. Dinwiddie.
McCarson, Craft and Woodring were 2015 All-WNCAC selections. Johnson was the WNCAC Defensive Player of the Year. He made 90 tackles and 15 sacks.
Craft was the offensive spark plug as a quarterback who passed for 1,140 yards and nine touchdowns with 13 interceptions. In addition, he rushed for a team-high 880 yards and 13 touchdowns. Woodring was tied for the most receptions by any North Henderson player (28), and they went for 422 yards and three touchdowns. He averaged 4.8 tackles per game.
McCarson secured a team-high 128 tackles (10.7 per game). Mitchell averaged 5.8 stops a game.
