12- Crimson Tide goes up against the undefeated 13-0 Tigers

On Monday, January 11th Alabama will face Clemson in the National College Football Championship. Alabama’s Crimson Tide has gone 12-1 in their season so far with their only loss coming from the #12 Ole Miss Rebels in a 23-17 thriller. Clemson is bamavstigershot this year being the number one seed and the favorite to take the trophy home this year. The Clemson Tigers are 13-0 this year hoping to maintain their undefeated streak for the entire season. These two powerhouses will face off in the University of Phoenix Stadium in Glendale, Arizona. You can watch this game on any major sports network at 8:30 Monday night. Long time Oregon fan Jake Miranda says, “Clemson will take it, but Alabama has been playing very well this year, especially Derrick Henry. If the Tigers stop the run, then the game is over.”

Derrick Henry is the star running back for the Tide. Only a junior, Henry has broken the SEC record for rushing yards with almost 2,000 yards. He earned himself the Heisman Trophy in 2015, along with a spot on the All-American team and several other prestigious awards. However, Clemson is also no stranger to big players. Their quarterback, Deshaun Watson, came in third place for the Heisman and was also named the MVP of the Orange Bowl. He also won the Davey O’Brien award given to the best college quarterback.

Don’t forget to tune in to watch the big game this Monday on the 11th at 8:30.
