All four Fort Collins softball teams have qualified for the Class 5A postseason.

Rocky Mountain (14-5) is the highest-seeded local team at No. 9 in 5A. The Lobos will open Region 2 play against No. 24 Fruita Monument (11-8) in a region hosted by No. 8 Loveland (13-6). The fourth team in the region is No. 25 Cherry Creek (9-10).

The Lobos made the 5A quarterfinals last year.

Fossil Ridge (15-4) is the No. 10 seed and will play No. 23 Grandview (9-10) in Region 7 hosted by No. 7 Arvada West (13-5-1). The fourth team in the region is No. 25, and defending state champion, Mountain Range (10-9).

The SaberCats made the 5A semifinals last year.

Fort Collins (12-7) is the No. 15 seed and will play No. 18 ThunderRidge (13-6) in Region 8 hosted by No. 2 Grand Junction Central (16-2-1). The fourth team in the region is No. 31 Liberty (13-6).

The Lambkins made it to the final 16 in 5A last year.

Poudre (10-9) is the No. 22 seed and will play No. 11 Dakota Ridge (11-8) in Region 6 hosted by No. 6 Legend (14-4-1). The fourth team in the region is No. 27 Smoky Hill (10-9).

This is the first time the Impalas have qualified for regionals since 2012.

In 4A, Windsor (10-9) is the No. 26 seed and will play No. 7 Silver Creek (16-3). The other two teams are No. 10 Air Academy (14-4) and No. 23 Holy Family (11-8).

Game times are not set, but all regionals are Saturday. Two teams from each region will advance to next week’s 16-team state tournament.
