COLTON CRICK, Greenwood Christian Academy
Crick threw a no-hitter in GCA’s 27-0 victory over Broad Ripple. The freshman had five strikeouts, one walk and forced a ground out to end the game.
JACK SPEEDY, Mooresville
Speedy has led the Pioneers at the No. 1 spot all season. In the team’s April 20 match against Plainfield, he was the medalist after shooting 35 and finishing 1-under par.
BOYS TRACK & FIELD
JACOB STAMM, Seton Catholic
In the Guerin Catholic Invitational on April 23, the IUPUI commit ran the 1600-meter in 4:27.01 and the 3200-meter in 9:45.48, winning both events.
GIRLS TRACK & FIELD
CAMILLE CHRISTOPHER, Hamilton Southeastern
Christopher was just three-hundredths of a second short of breaking the school record in the 100-meter on April 22. She did go on to break the 200-meter record later that day.
WYATT BARKES, Columbus North
Barkes scored the game-winning point in the Bulldogs’ 16-15 victory over Avon on April 19. He finished the game with seven goals and two assists. His season record stands at 16 goals and eight assists in six games.
ELIJAH BITTINGER, Cathedral
Cathedral managed to defeat defeated St. Ignatius from Cincinnati, Ohio, 10-8 in overtime. Bittinger received the ball in the final seconds and ran for the final score that pushed his team to victory.
NATALIE WEBER, Shelbyville
Between April 16-22, Weber was on fire at the plate. She was 12-of-17 with six RBIs, six runs scored, three doubles and one stolen base. Her overall season average is .625.
SARAH CONGRESS, Hamilton Southeastern
Congress was able to hold No. 2 Culver Academy to one goal and two shots on April 23 as the Royals went on to win 7-5.
Hannah Garcia, Warsaw
Hannah has been the Tigers’ highest point and try scorer. On April 21, Garcia had five tries and three conversions for a total of 31 points in Warsaw’s 81-0 win over South Bend.
Jaelyn Whitley, Cardinal Ritter
On April 18, Whitley defeated Arsenal Tech’s Tiarra Harney 6-0, 6-0. On April 19, she defeated Scecina’s Caroline Friedly 6-4, 6-2.
