A twist: Expectations at Arcadia remain high, after reaching the semifinals of a sectional tournament for the first time since 2004. The Titans also won a division title for the first time with Lockhart.
Overheard at camp: “My first year (in the program) before I was on JV, they were like 0-8. My first year on varsity, we got a couple of wins, made it to sectionals and we lost. My second year we went farther, to the semifinals. Every year we are trying to go higher and higher to win a sectional title.’’ – senior middle linebacker and tight end Nick Toomey, one of seven starters on offense and six on defense back with the Titans.
