Brookings 64, Brandon Valley 45 at Brookings — Four Brookings players, led by Isaac Brandt and his 25-point offensive effort, ended the night in double-digit territory, vaulting the Bobcats to a solid win over Brandon Valley. Brandt put up eight rebounds in addition to his point total. Devin Couglin followed at 13 points while Brennan Carlson and Zach Treiber contributed 10 points apiece. Brandon Valley’s Zach Scholten had 11 points on the scoreboard and Spencer Grage had 10.

Sioux Valley 77, McCook Central/Montrose 49 at Montrose — 19 points from Tayt Vincent and 16 more from Trevor Olson helped move Sioux Valley past MCM in a contest that didn’t see the Fighting Cougars come to life until the third period. Vincent had six rebounds and Cole Gross had seven. MCM’s Jesse Muth nothced 15 points, Collin Cleveland had 10 and Kylar Hansen had nine. Muth and Noah Edwards each had six rebounds.

Flandreau Indian’s Satara Red Tomahawk put 12 points on the board while Savanna Vetter had eight rebounds and two steals.

For Madison, Nicole Brown led her team with 22 points, followed by Emma Marsh at six points. Jessi Giles and Olivia Rud had five points apiece.
