Freeman Academy 53, Scotland 45 — Stephen Waltner poured in a game-high 20 points and Freeman Academy knocked off Scotland. Brookings struggled to find their offensive footing on the court, putting just one point on the board in the final quarter and failing to register a player in double-digit territory. Sara Tvedt emerged Brookings’ point leader with seven, while Kara McDougall had five rebounds.

West Central 58, Waubay/Summit 32 — McKenzie Stone led the Trjoans with 14 points and three rebounds, followed by Alexa From at 10 points and four rebounds and Ashlyn Macdonald at 10 points and three rebounds. Bailey Meadors added seven points and six rebounds. Waubay/Summit’s Whitney Zirbel had 11 points while Nocolette Kneeland had nine points and six rebounds.
Viborg-Hurley 71, Sanborn Central/Woonsocket 54 — Abby Hora notched 33 points to help Viborg-Hurley take out Sanborn Central/Woonsocket. Hora hit 12 of 22 shots from the field and five of eight from behind the arc. She added eight rebounds and four assists. The Cougars also got 13 points from Duana Lee and 10 from Kirsten Paetow.
