Last week: Pittsford Panthers goalie made 33 saves to help the Section V Class A champions defeat Williamsville North, 2-1, in the state quarterfinal round. The Panthers face Mamaroneck in the state semifinal at 9:30 a.m. Saturday at HarborCenter in Buffalo.
“We’ve leaned on him at times,” Pittsford coach Steve Thering said. “He’s stepped up big for us, especially during this homestretch.”
