LATROBE, Pa. — The unsung hero of the Detroit Lions’ biggest win last season once again is fighting for a job.
Crezdon Butler said he has no illusions about what his breakup of Green Bay Packers quarterback Aaron Rodgers’ potential game-tying two-point conversion — preserving the Lions’ first victory in Wisconsin since 1991 — means now.
“I don’t think too much, just because it’s a new year,” Butler said. “It’s a new year, new team, new competition. And you just got to go out there and play.”
