* On the floor: Hoskins averaged 21.7 points and 7.4 rebounds while helping the Wildcats go 19-16 and reach the state tournament for the first time since 1989. Hoskins is a prolific 3-point shooter, hitting 43.6 percent (105 of 241) this season and finishing with a school-record 233 for his career. He was named the 14th Region Player of the Year by the Kentucky Association of Basketball Coaches and finished his career with 2,232 points (second in school history behind Matt Day) and 1,060 rebounds (fifth).
* Off the floor: Hoskins has a 4.0 grade-point average and is an honors student. He’s also involved with the Fellowship of Christian Athletes and tutors elementary-school students.
* Future: Hoskins has offers from Lindsey Wilson, Pikeville and Transylvania and also is receiving interest from Eastern Kentucky.
