Reynolds senior Kyle Cagle has signed to play college baseball for Carson-Newman (Tenn.).

Reynolds baseball player Kyle Cagle is the latest winner of the Mission Health Spotlight Performance of the Week award.

The pitcher improved to 3-0 this season with Friday’s 10-1 win over Enka and still hasn’t allowed an earned run. Cagle, who is a senior, had 13 strikeouts in the win over the Jets.

He has committed to play college baseball for Carson-Newman (Tenn.) and was the 2015 Mountain Athletic Conference Pitcher of the Year as well as a Citizen-Times All-WNC player.
