Newsflash: Cam Newton was a really good high school football player!

Before he was winning awards and leading his Carolina Panthers, Auburn Tigers and Blinn College Buccaneers (the junior college Newton attended after leaving Florida) to championships, Newton was a four-star recruit and the No. 3 dual threat quarterback in the nation for the Westlake (Atlanta) Lions. The video above, courtesy of our friends at Scout, shows Newton throwing dimes and evading defenders left and right, much like he’s done his entire NFL and collegiate career.
