On Saturday, two powerhouse high school football teams set out for a showdown in the Lone Star State: Texas’ Cedar Hill vs. Nevada’s Bishop Gorman.
Gorman, the new No. 1 in the Super 25 football rankings, ran away with a 44-14 victory in front of a national TV audience.

On Tuesday, TexasHSFootball.com had the opportunity to meet with Cedar Hill head coach Joey McGuire and talk with him about the game, and McGuire noted that the Gaels weren’t exactly what they seemed.
“On film they didn’t seem to be as physical as they played on Saturday,” McGuire said. “They had things on the defensive side of the ball that were brand new…it was very frustrating.”
