Coming off its victory against Warren Central (Indianapolis), Center Grove (Greenwood, Ind.) has moved into the top 10 in the latest Super 25 Computer football rankings.
Center Grove avenged its season-opening loss to Warren Central in the playoffs and has won 11 consecutive games entering this weekend’s showdown with Ben Davis.
Center Grove was No. 22 last week.
The top six spots remained the same: Mater Dei (Santa Ana, Calif.), Bishop Gorman (Las Vegas), IMG Academy (Bradenton, Fla.), St. John Bosco (Bellflower, Calif.), Centennial (Corona, Calif.) and Loyola Academy (Wilmette, Ill.).
Wayne (Huber Heights, Ohio) moved up five spots from No. 12 to No. 7. Mountain Pointe is up two spots to No. 8, DeMatha (Hyattsville, Md.) remained No. 9, followed by Center Grove.
Mission Viejo (Calif.) is No. 11, up from No. 15, St. Ignatius (Cleveland) bumped to No. 12 from No. 19. Grayson (Loganville, Ga.), East. St. Louis (Ill.) and Prairie Ridge (Crystal Lake, Ill.) round out the top 15.
Trinity (Louisville) is No. 16, followed by Elk River (Minn.), Detroit Catholic Central (Redford, Mich.), Palatine (Ill.) and Bingham (South Jordan, Utah).
Three newcomers are in the final five slots: No. 21 Rancho Cucamonga (Calif.), No. 23 Chandler (Ariz.) and No. 25 Camas (Wash.). Saguaro (Scottsdale, Ariz.) is No. 22 and Allen (Texas) is No. 24.
